Explore Summer CampChildren learn best when they are having fun and immersed in an engaging activity. Here your child steps into a dynamic, play-based environment where curiosity, creativity and social skills take root, laying the groundwork for lifelong learning. Teachers take the time to make sure you and everyone who walks through the doors is treated like family. This center has been trusted by families in the community for ten years.
Rooms are set up so children can reach what they need and move between activities. In a play-based day, children might write their name in rice or practice letters with shaving cream. Teachers plan hands-on literacy and social play that keeps children engaged. Your child stays busy learning through fun, not worksheets.
Teachers and staff greet each family by name at the door, and children settle into their rooms knowing who will care for them. A lead teacher stays with the same group, so routines and faces stay familiar. Rooms are cleaned daily and toys sanitized. Families often comment on how spotless the space feels when they visit.

Mornings start gently. A teacher greets your child by name, helps them put their bag in their cubby, and steers them toward something familiar to settle in. Some children walk straight to a favorite toy; others need a lap and a few minutes first. The room hums with quiet choices as everyone finds their footing.
The middle of the day moves between guided activities and unstructured exploration. Children play outside every day, weather permitting, building muscles, gross motor skills and friendships as they run and dig. Inside, small groups work on letters, numbers or a project at their own pace. Meals and rest come next, with a calm rhythm that helps children know what's coming.
Afternoon is quieter. Children wake from rest, have a snack, and drift into free play or a story while teachers tidy and reset for tomorrow. At pickup, a teacher tells you one real thing about your child's day: who they played with, what they built, where they needed help. You leave knowing how the hours went.

At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did that day — the game they joined, the letters they practiced, the friend they sat with. If you have a question, ask your child's teacher or call the office. You hear updates in person, not just through an app.
Starting a new center is a big change. Tell us your child's routine and we plan a first week that fits. You can call or email with questions before the first day. Teachers take time to learn your child's name, habits, and comfort items.
Call (850) 216-1212 or email officemanager@gallopsfamily.com to start. Tell us your child's age and the days you need, and we will talk through what fits your family's schedule.
See the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Bring your child along so they can see the room too.
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. We will go over days, drop-off, and what to bring so your child settles in with familiar faces and a steady pace.

Yes, a tour is how most families decide. Come see the rooms in action, watch children at play, and ask about hours, ages, or anything else on your list; your child can walk through with you.
Most families pack a change of clothes, a comfort item like a small blanket or stuffed animal, and anything with a name on it. Label water bottles, bags and clothing so they find their way home. If your child needs something specific, just ask.
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have at the time. Call or email to ask what is currently available for your child.
You can ask to be told when a place opens for your child's age. We will reach out if something comes up that fits.
