Policies

RECEIPT OF CHILDCARE POLICIES. The registration packet lists every policy that applies to your child's care here. Read it, sign the receipt, and return the forms to the office. Registration is not complete until those signed forms are back in your file. Ask the front desk about anything you want explained before you sign.

What this looks like in practice

In most centers, the signed packet is the record everyone works from. It holds your child's enrollment form, emergency contacts, pickup list, health and immunization records, and your agreement on tuition and hours. Teachers check the pickup list at the door, and the office checks the file before the first day. If a form is missing, you will hear about it at drop-off.

Policies matter most in small moments. A current pickup list means your child leaves with the right adult. A known allergy means snack time stays safe. A set tuition date means no surprise at the desk. Those pieces let your child settle into the room and get on with the day's play.

Four children play on a blue and red outdoor play structure with a yellow tic-tac-toe panel, while two children lean over the panel and two others stand nearby on green surfacing.
